About the Communications Chairperson

I am excited to serve as chair of the KACADA Communications Committee. As a newly emerging chapter, KACADA has a unique opportunity to provide professional development and networking opportunities for advisors from both two- and four-year institutions in Kentucky. Perhaps most importantly, KACADA will be instrumental in furthering the advising profession by raising awareness about the strong contribution academic advising makes to the success of students and our institutions, which in turn will result in better service to students.
As chair of the Communications Committee, I am committed to furthering participation in KACADA across the state, keeping our members informed, and increasing understanding of the critical role advising plays in meeting Kentucky’s educational goals. I am honored to serve in this capacity.
Responsibilities of the Communications Chairperson
The Communications Chair shall maintain the Association’s website and coordinate the publication of the Associations biannual newsletter. The Communications Committee Chairperson serves a two year term.
