2010 KACADA Executive Officer Election Timeline

1. Job descriptions and request for nominations posted to KACADA website and sent to listserv by Monday, March 29th.

2. Applications including bio and personal statements accepted via e-mail from Monday, March 29th until Friday, April 16th at 5:00 p.m.

3. Top three applicants for each position decided by the Election Committee from Monday, April 19th through Friday, April 23rd.

4. Top applicants alerted for their candidate status on Monday, April 26th. 

5. Candidate bios and personal statements and voting information posted on KACADA website and sent to listserv Monday, May 3rd.  It shall stay posted on the web until May 18th.     

6. Votes cast by KACADA members via online third party surveying service from 8:00 a.m. Monday, May 10th through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 16th.

7. Votes tabulated by the election committee at annual KACADA meeting before the business meeting on Monday, May 17th.

8. Winners announced at the business meeting at annual KACADA meeting Monday, May 17th. 

a. In the event of a tie, the winner shall be decided by majority vote by those in attendance at the business meeting.

9. Send out e-mail to inform the general membership of their new officers Monday, May 24th.
